DefendIQ is an AI-powered preparation tool that helps graduate students simulate doctoral defense sessions. It is not affiliated with any academic institution and does not guarantee any specific academic outcome. PASS/FAIL verdicts are simulations for practice only.
You must be 18 or older to use DefendIQ. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately at james.b@sentinelaifirm.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
DefendIQ offers a 7-day free trial (2 sessions, no credit card required), an Individual plan ($15/month — unlimited sessions, up to 5 saved documents), and a Pro plan ($29.99/month — everything in Individual plus unlimited document storage, automatic email verdict reports after each session, and priority support). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime through your dashboard — access continues through the end of your billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Billing errors must be reported within 7 days.
You own all documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the service. We do not sell, share, or use your research documents for any other purpose.
You agree not to use DefendIQ for any unlawful purpose, to upload content you do not own, to share your account with others, or to attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the platform. Accounts found in violation may be suspended without notice.
Sentinel AI Group, LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of DefendIQ. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to any claim. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
